While pursuing evening classes at the School of Journalism and Public Relations at the Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences (A.I.T.I.A.), he also worked at the Ministry of Customs and Monopolies. Following the military coup of September 12, he resigned from his position at the ministry.
In 1990, he passed both the written and oral exams and earned the title of Customs Broker. The following year, in 1991, he founded Ekin Customs Brokerage.
With the introduction of the Authorized Customs Consultancy practice, he established Ekin Authorized Customs Consultancy on July 10, 2008.
On May 28, 2018, he completed his undergraduate studies at Anadolu University, Faculty of Economics, and received his degree.
He continues to actively work as an Authorized Customs Consultant.
